Dear Members,

Since November 2005 I have the privilege to be your Hostess Chairperson, after Ellen Wetterlind. It was a very nice experience to me as during this club year we had some very special and successful meetings, besides our normal monthly luncheons.

We started the club year by using the Restaurant Erik’s Gondolen as our new venue, which showed to be very appreciated for our minor luncheons. We thank very much Mr. Ragnar Boman and his staff for their helpful and efficient collaboration.

Then, in February we had our Valentine’s Day celebration, when we shared a happy dinner party with our partners/husbands at the nice premises of Restaurant Druvan.

And this club year culminated in March when we celebrated the IWC 45th Anniversary at Grand Hotel, with a beautiful gala luncheon attended by 220 members, their guests and special guests from AWC, DWC and SWEA!

I want to thank all IWC members for the encouraging words and collaboration I got during the period I served our Club as Hostess Chairperson. In special, I want to point out the nice members of my committee for their effective and supporting help. Thank you so much, I could not do anything without you:

My gratitude goes also to the Board members, to Gail McEnaney for her patience and helping hand with the Bulletin, Maria Faxander for the beautiful presentation and help with my web page, as well as the staff of Operakällaren represented by Mr. Maurizio Barberis and Lena Månson for their excellent service and collaboration during this club year.

Finally, I would like to send my successor my best wishes for the coming Club Year.
