Annual Report - Club Year 2006/2007

Programme Chairpersons

Ludmilla Thurne and Agnes Mészáros

 

Ludmilla took care of the first half of the club year, organizing the following

programmes:

September: “The Sound of Music”, a musical performance with concert pianist Jan Eyron and romantic singer Ann-Britt Zetterberg.

October: Fashion show with Åke Andersson’s furs and evening gowns.

November: Ensemble “Carusel”, a folkdance performance from Russia .

December: Russian Christmas with dance and music by the Russian School in Stockholm.

 

2007 was led by Agnes Meszaros.

January: Solo concert by Hungarian floutist Kinga Prada.

February: meeting a most popular entertainer John Alexander, “Speaker of the year”.

March : introducing a young exceptional talent - concert of the virtuous pianist Gergö Teleki, at the USA residence.

April: combined programme of musicians Triple and Touch, followed by Fashion Show of “Prêt-à-Porter” and “SoYou” . Extra special guest: Alexandra Charles.

 

I would like to give special thanks to Lauren Dyer Amazeen, Anita Wegelius Bergström, Marilda Ericsson-Martoni and Debora House-Bengtsson who helped me so much in the preparation of the April fashion show. I also thank you all for your enthusiasm, courage and kindness during this past club year and I wish you all a beautiful Summer.
